Hi, I'm Blue!
I've been in the grooming industry since 2006, dedicating my career to creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for pets and their owners. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping pet parents better understand their dog’s grooming needs—and seeing the joy on their faces when they pick up their freshly groomed pup!
Outside the salon, I enjoy hiking, spending time at the lake with family and friends, and cozy evenings by the fire with my two dogs, Joey and Louis.
Fun Fact: I’ve always had a passion for horses and love to golf!
Alex | Assistant Salon Manager
Hi, I'm Alex!
I've been expressing my passion for dogs through grooming since 2021. I love that I get to work with animals every day alongside such a supportive and fun team!
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me crocheting, camping, or hiking and swimming with my dog, Bugs.
Along with Bugs, I also share my life with my horse, Oakley, and my cat, Junie.
Fun Fact: I’ve been passionate about horseback riding for over 13 years!
Rachel | Professional Dog Groomer
Hi, I'm Rachel!
I've been sharing my love for dogs through grooming since 2021. One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing dogs enjoy their spa day—it makes me so happy to watch them walk out feeling great and smelling fresh! I find it incredibly rewarding to see their progress over time and build trust with each dog I work with.
In my spare time, I love going for walks and hikes with my dog, Otto, and spending quality time with my family.
Fun Fact: I'm in an axe throwing league!
Emily | Professional Dog Bather
Hi, I'm Emily!
I've been part of Blue Dog Grooming team since 2021. One of my favourite things about being a Professional Dog Bather is building relationships with so many wonderful and caring pet parents. I especially enjoy sharing tips to help keep their dogs healthy and looking their best!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and going on long hikes with our beagle, Max. We also share our home with two cats, Buddy and Spike.
Fun Fact: Before joining the Blue Dog team, I was a full-time local dog walker!
